Compant sent my son a letter with a 3,950 check attached. My son is gone into the military, so i knew he had no idea about this check

My son to go to boot camp. Well a month later he received a letter with a check for3,950. Me being the concerned parent called the number ontthe check. To no avail i got an automated message. The check had a capital one logo on it. I called capital one and gave them the check number. They had no check numbers on file with the number i gave them. America beware when something too good to be true comes in the mail.
