Unauthorized Bank Withdrawel Internet

I opened up my on line banking account today and saw a charge for 19.95 from an 800 number. I immediatly called the 800 number and it said they were not taking calls at this time. I found their website and went to the website only to find that I have never applied for a loan with this company.

I called my bank and they have put a hold on any more transactions coming from this idiotic company and suggested that I come to the bank and close the account and re-open a new one. They felt that if I did fill out an on line application there are millions of websites that your information is sent to and this will no doubt happen again. They suggested the best thing to do is come into the bank and close out my checking account and have the bank open up a new bank account and advised me NEVER to fill out anything on line with banking information.

So, I am going to close out my checking account tomorrow, the bank was good enough to refund the fee but I have to fill out a fraud report which I said I have no problem doing. I feel bad for these morons if I can get through by phone on Monday.
