Took my wife and my dreams and make them a money battle between companies

My wife and I have been married for 11 years. Before we got together, our credit was not the best and we made some mistakes during the early part of our marriage. We worked our hind ends off to get all this fixed as best we could. We found these people and they said that no matter how bad our credit was, they could get us into a new home.

We started all this back in the middle of March. We stopped dealing with them after we were turned on to there dealings and the fact that they kept telling us we were going to close in two weeks. We messed with them for 2 and half months. Went thru 3 lenders. And I can not even begin to tell you how many "specialist" we talked to.

Anyway, they took our $2500.00 and they will not give it back. There is a no money back clause somewhere on the contract that we cannot find. Supposedly. I guess it is a exspensive lesson learned. They have changed out their whole sales department since we have been dealing with them.

We have found out that all the sales people quit due to the companies policies. They mark up everything thru the roof. A $78,000 home was going to cost us $161,000. No way we are going to spend that much money on a mobile home. Which we were told was a modular home when we first started with them.
