Read the letter carefully they are selling a "sweepstakes report" nothing more, the letter is a huge head - fake!

AS with Tanya, the first report of this I read, (and I'm sure many will follow) You recieve 2 very official looking pieces of paper, the first headed "Award Payment Data Release Division" along with a 10 digit #. This is followed by their exiting news that YOUR IDENTIFICATION # FILED IN OUR MAIN OFFICE FOR THE AWARD PAYMENT REPORT. As you read on carefully you will see that nowhere in the letter do they state you have won anything. There is a questionable phrase "XXXXX (person recieving letter) You are now being proceeded for the completion of Your attached Award Payment Data Release Document which when recieved in our office GUARANTEES YOUR 100% access for the Award Monies and Prizes."
The Second Page has the usual excitement building fake check. When you flip over to the back of the first page, they explain that all that your money will get you is a sweepstake report, nothing more, the company compiles information on sweepstakes, and that is what they will send you, (I assume) is a report on sweepstakes you can enter (free of charge). They finally state on the back of first page, "This communication is not a sweepstakes or award notification and does not guarantee that you will win any sweepstakes."

So all this really is is a lesson often-repeated to the public, read everything carefully. I did, and happily shredded it.
