Getting Nowhere

They purchased an old account past the sol for the state of washington, but an account we paid off directly to the original creditor well before being contacted by MCM. The original credit amount due was 2100.00. After sending a check to the original creditor, MCM contacted us with a balance due of 3100.00. They had the account almost 6 months before contacting us.

I sent letters and copies of the payment sent to the original creditor and they took all their information off our credit report. Then, three months later, its back on there for even more money, showing as a new account.

I sent letters again, but all I got were phone calls at all times of the day and night, calls at my husbands workplace (which is not published anywhere).

To no avail will this company stop sending notices or calling, even when we ask them too. My last letter stated we paid the original creditor off in January and for them to contact them. Two checks had been issued and one returned (all third party checks direct from a loan servicing company). To date the other check has not been returned or cashed. But I have a signed return receipt showing they got the payment.

I have already made copies of these items and sent them off to MCM and they will not respond in writing to our request to remove.
