I am unable to request an audit on child support issues as well as collect child support for my two children. Their father is a San Diego Police Officer

My children and I have been held hostage in San Diego Family Court Services for almost 14 years. There is evidence of physical, sexual and emotional abuse. When I reported that my children's father a San Diego Police Officers battered our 7 year old son I was unable to get any police reports. A Minor's Counsel was appointed - she is being paid thru the tax payers. My children's father made $75,000 in 1995 but has been given free legal assistance thru the tax payers. My son was burned with a cigarette by his father. My son was examined at the Center for Child Protection. I lost custody based on a finding of PAS. The children continued to be battered by their father and the Minor's Counsel made no attempt to obtain evidence. My daughter revealed that her father assaulted her. I was granted a trial as no matteres at this point had been properly addressed. Upon completion of the Discovery Process the judge denied the trial and I was not able to see my children. Minor's Counsel reported to the Court that my children did not want to see me and she reported to the children that I did not want to see them. Minor's Counsel continues to go to court without the children's knowledge or my knowledge and submits her bill to the tax payers with no accounting and she is paid. Currently my children have removed themselves from the Police Officers custody but trying to get child suport has proven difficult. I have discovered all of our child support matters were handled "privately".in other words without compliance to the law. I know that some fathers are losing their driver's licenses if they don't pay child support. There is a San Diego Police Officer who has been given preferrenial treatment and apparently San Diego Child Support Services can't find him to serve him. It seems some people are above the law while others are struggling and often face jail time for not paying their support while police officers are being given free attorneys through tax payer dollars and do not have to pay child support. The good news is JLAC is going to audit San Diego Family Court Services. So if any litigants out there are in a "high conflict" case and the County is exploiting you are your children give his office a call. Also if you have a Minor's Counsel who is exploiting the tax payers know that this is a gross misuse of County funds. Minor's Counsels don't even have to submit an itemized bill - I have tried to obtain billing but my children's minor's counsel has written that it is too laborious, the County has advised me that there is no individual accounting.in other words Minor's Counsel can rape the taxpayers and they don't even have to submit a bill. Under the color of authority Minor's Counsel are laughing all the way to the bank and the San Diego County taxpayers are not even aware. My children are 17 and 18 they certainly do not need the tax payers to pay someone to speak for them - according to San Diego Family Court rules when the children are 10 they can speak for themselves but the attorneys have found a great way to supplement their income absent of any accounting.
