Ripped Me OFF! I have no idea who these people are!

Today I finally went to the bank to see what this "$99" check was that was written out of my account. The bank informed me that there had be several "checks" written out of my account for that amount to the same company, Low Pay, Inc. There was a withdrawl in May, June and now July. I could not figure out why my checking account kept having over drafts, now I know! The bank kindly gave me photo copies of the three checks that had cleared my account. They were exact copies of my checks, but the numbers on them were not the same in the book I was using. Two of the checks actually had the same check number! I called the 1-800 number written in the memo area. What I got was shocking. It was a furniture company! They explained to me that they had several calls regarding this matter. She told me that for some reason, someone was using their 1-800 number as their own.
I could not believe it! Someone had gotten away with $300 dollars right under my nose! They had printed my account number on the bottom, my bank name and my name and address and phone. They looked exactly like my real checks! The voice at the furniture company guided me to the name and number of a police officer investigating these frauds. She also gave me her real phone number and asked me to send her a copy of the fake checks with their phone number on it. She is putting together a file for the police. I want my money back! I live mouth to hand as it is. I had to close my bank account and open another. Problem is, I had already sent a check for my carpayment. Now the check I sent for my car is going to bounce because of the $99 taken on July 2nd! More fees! My bank account has been as high as -$95 because of these frauds taking my money. What scares me, how did they get my info? How did they copy my checks? The only checks I write are for my child's daycare and my carpayment. Where did they get it? One big problem, I have no idea who these people are, where they are or what it is I was to suppose to have gotten.
