$240 for bubble wrap!? Complete inaccurate quote

This was my first time hiring a moving company, and I'll never do it again. Appearently, moving companies are the worst scammers. First of all, the company goes by one name in the phone book, then when you call them it's a different company (all year round movers-affordable van lines, respectively). They said they bought the phone # from the other company, but after doing some research, that was a lie. They only take cash, I should have known from that. After being very descriptive in all the items I had in my place, the stairs and elevators that I was moving OUT OF AND INTO, for three hours the quoute was $312 and $80 for each additional hour; I was fine with that. They arrived 2 hours late and blamed it on the rain for insurance purposes, yet my move was done during the rain. The two movers that were sent, looked like your average, out of shape high school kids. It took three hours to pack all my stuff in their truck, fine. The new contract was not written until we arrived at my new place. They wanted another $600 because my building had 2 elevators. Sophie, one of the people at this company, knew ALL THE INFORMATION of my new place and my old place. Part of that new quote was to also cover 7 cardboard boxes and 5 square feet of bubble wrap to protect my PLASTIC PICTURE FRAMES? I never asked them to do that, the movers never said anything about that, and they still managed to get messed up upon delivery. Half my dish set was damaged. Souvenirs from Mexico and Colombia were destroyed; when am I going back there? And I had to take out a cash advance on my credit card to pay these Fu@ks. The owner tried telling me that the price of oil is what caused the bubble wrap to be so expensive, hah. And Sofie promises that I will get a check in the mail for $100 for compensation, and that's not even for the broken materials. I usually research online before I make any purchases, but I didn't. If someone would like to slash their tires for me, I'd feel a little better.
