Regina Cheney has no idea how to run a business as a landlord

We moved out of our apartment on May 1st and a week later there was already a new tenant. Of course we didn't mind that seeing as the apartment building is in very poor shape and Regina is cheap.

We had a total of about 25 people in the building with only one washer and one dryer. Can you imagine that? We were also without hot water for a week before she sent someone to fix the boiler.

Well part of why we moved is she wanted to raise our rent for our run down apartment and that was just inconceivable. We gave our notice and that was fine except she decided since we'd called her office and left a message while she was on vacation that our 30 day notice would put us at moving out on the 11th of May. She was gonna charge us a half month's rent just because she was off enjoying her 4th or 5th vacation since we'd first moved in October 12th!

Now our problem is we can't get our security deposit back which she said would be ready yesterday at the LATEST. She apparently told my husband if we called again she'd file harassment charges. Keep in mind we've only called a couple of times. My advice to anyone looking for a rental in this city is to definitely not go through Regina Cheney at RMG Realty. She's not a good landlord while you're a tenant nor is she good at giving your money back but she'll gladly take it.
