Deceptive and Fraudulent marketing

This company, Yellow Pages, (Fed Tax ID # 71-0901674) is using the same name and logo as the real "Yellow Pages" to fraudulently rip off innocent consumers.

I recieved a confirmation from Yellow Pages (this company) for services ordered with my name, company name address and phone numbers.

Having just contracted for phone services iwith a legitimate provider, including a yellow page listing, I assumed that the confirmation was in order.

I never once contacted this company nor solicited their service.

I have now received a bill for $298.00, for immediate payment to avoid collection procedures.

I attempted to get a name and street address from a representative by phone, my call was disconnected. I finally got through to another representative after several attempts, who told me that my number had been flagged, and also refused to provide me with a street address.

I reported this case to the Federal Trade Commission, who concurred that this is deceptive and fraudulent practice. I was reassured that I am not responsible for this payment.
