She'll break your child's heart!

My story is the same as everyone else's. I met Ms. Shelley at the Triangle Farmer's Market. I paid her $65 to join. I was told this was the last student she was accepting. I was told that she had been conducting classes at the Red Barn on Burnet. I was told A LOT!

It was all a bunch of lies.

I connected with one of the other mom's and her son. (Her son, by the way, was also told he would be the last child on added to the group. Trust me... They all are.)

She is VERY engaging.

I managed to find two other parents who'd been with Ms. Shelley last year. They were out upwards of $800! In spite of that, they don't necessarily think she's a fraud, rather, they think she's schizophrenic or something. Possible, but I don't agree. There are too many outright lies.

I filed a report with the Austin Police Department, but we cannot find other people who believe she's defrauded them.

I repeated asked the complaint to send my contact info to you people who have filed reports, but was denied.

If you want to do something about this, please call the Austin Police Department and ask to speak to Detective King. He has an open file with her right now, but he's about to close it. Detective King has not contacted the complaint to get your information. I think he has too many other higher priority cases (e.G. Assaults, etc). I understand Det. King's situation, but I wish the ROR would help me out here. I want to say publicly that I give the ROR FULL PERMISSION to give my contact info to any of your who have been ripped off by Shelley.

She's very charming with kids. She's downright gifted. If she did exactly what she said she does, she's have a great business. It's a shame that she puts so much energy into this scam. Her daughter is 15 and helps with all the lies. They look you in the eye and lie to your face. I feel so sorry for her daughter. She must think this is how the real world works. She is in for a rude awakening.
