FAKE GV JACKET given in exchange of cash for GAS

I was walking on Paris street. A car was driven to me and the driver open the window. He ask me whether I speak english. I answer yes to him thinking that he might want to know the direction to somewhere. I told him I am a tourist. He said he is a tourist too from Italy. After that he ask me to go near the car and said he is going back to Italy after a business meeting yesterday. He don't want to bring back the 'Versace' sample jackets (with GV logo on the plastic bag and the jackets) he brought to Paris due to the fact he will need to pay tax. He would rather give the jackets to me.

Without my acceptance, he packed the jackets into a plastic bag and give the jackets to me. I took the jackets and was about to left when he said he need a favour from me. I stop and listen to him. He said he is running out of gas and he lost his credit card yesterday. He just need 80 EURO to fill up the tank in order to go back to Italy.

In order to convince me, he show me his travel document with photo and even use a lighter to burn one of the jacket (which I tried to return back to him) which he said is genuine leather of good quality. I told him I don't have much cash with me. Finally he end up requesting me to give 70EURO only. Thinking that the gas in France is rather expensive and he is so pity because it was Saturday and banks were close. Nobody will be able to help him and the amount of money he requested was not justify he was cheating... I gave him the money and walk away with the two fake GV jackets.

I begin to suspect I was cheated after looking at the quality of the jacket especially the logo on the jackets and after knowing the distance of Paris to Italy is too far to reach with 70Euro gas. SO Beware of this trick everyone! It has been used over and over in Europe. Even with 70Euro for exchange of 2 jackets (fake but brand new)!!
