After researching "The Public Records Laws" in Florida I discovered that there is a statute that specifically provides what a Police Records Department may charge for a crash report. Well they the cities just ignore the fact of the law existence and play ignorant but according to Chapter 119 a charge for a report is. 15 cents for the front and. 05 cent for the back those are the legal charges for purchasing of Crash Reports.
Total Lawful charges 2771.30 780.00 = 3551.30
Total charge for that year 18608.00 My Rippoff $15057.00

So they ripped me off for over 15000 dollars and that is only one city. The supporting documents to prove my assertions are data from the FLDMV Yearly Crash Incidents, also there is a Attorney Generals opinion regarding lawful charges.

I have the receipts to prove this however the city for some reason can't find the copies of these cash purchases; when in fact I watched them copy the first page of the reports and my Drivers License with the total monies collected.

However when I purchased the reports from some cities they were ripping off the citizens of their perspective cities.
I have gathered from the Florida DHMV records exactly the amount of Crashes for the year 2005 etc.
According to our records we paid approximately $18,000.00 for 3959 (See Exhibit 1) crash reports. At the current public record law you over charged our firm deliberately and with malice in violation of the Public Records Statutes Chapter 119. (See Exhibit 2) I have also provided an Attorneys General Opinion from our Gov. Charles Christ.
According to Chapter 119 a charge of. 15 cents for the front and. 05 cents for the back or record and the average report was 2 front pages and 2 back pages. Considering the current true charges, our firm should have been charged:
