Scam artist consumer rip-off fraud

I hired Sal Tornambene to build a garage for me on June 3. He was to start on June 24. I gave him $8000.00 for the deposit and he ran off with my money. He said that his account was frozen by child support (and swore to that in an affadavit) so he is obviously a scum bag who rips people off and doesnt pay child support! He said he would pay me back. Of course, he never did.

I now have a judgement against him but since he doesnt work an honest days living, I cannot get money back from his employer. I also cannot put a lein against his house because it is in forclosure.

I would never give him any money. If you see the lending tree.com offering the services of Precise Remodeling or Sal Tornambene, run Fast!!!

He and his wife worked together to scam me. She cashed my check but doesnt know anything.
