Wont pay child support, dead beat dad

I am writing this report about my ex-husband Jason Victoriano. He has one four year old little boy. Jason was court ordered to pay a very small amount of child support. He will not pay it at all!!! He has completely abandoned everything to do with his son.

The state of La is impossible as far as assisting single, divorced mothers. It makes me wonder what you have to do to be put in jail in this state? I have had a restraining order against him, that was broken five times and still no jail time. Other than the initial arrest due to violence, which still produced no consequence other then a few court dates. Jason was court ordered to anger management classes and has yet to complete them.

It sickens me to know that this goes on every day. Unless you have a unlimited amount of money to hand to lawyers weekly, there is no hope. These men live free and waste money on whatever. They pay no mind to what they have left behind for someone else to raise and pay for, a precious child!!!

Jason has not showed up for numerous court dates and there were no real consequences. I understand that there are worse situations out there. But this situation is far to common in this state. These men who do not take child support seriously are costing everyone money becouse now the mother is forced to swallow pride and turn to government assistance. Even though jail time would also be costing all tax payers money, at least that man would not be out in society repeating this same story to someone else. Plus CONSEQUENCES can really make a person rethink bad dicisions!
