Scam!

My husband went onto lowermybills.com and found the ad for Heritage Lending Services. We believe they are a scam, my husband sent $ 900.00 to them and then that very next day another rep for there company calls and says they could not process are loan. They told us if we send another $600 more then they could process the loan. When asked to send our Money back they said they only send out money once a month and will send it out April 10th. I don't believe I will receive the money back. They asked my husband to send the money through wal-mart and to a code name in Canada.

How is that lowermybills.com can get away with this? They are just as at fault for scamping people in need? I would like to know how I can get my money back and will also contact a lawyer. Please let me know what I can do! Thank you,
