One night a 20 something male approached me as i exited my car. He said he was with a company who helps them start their own buisness (s) and seem to have legitimate credentials and all proper information on the books/subscriptions he was selling. As an educated 35yr old male, i felt that this was a real offer and the price of the books looked reasonable. I wrote the check for $63 to CCC INC. He said that the books will start arriving in 6 to 8 weeks. That time came and went. No books. I called my bank (Wachovia) and asked them to track the check and they couldn't because they (the bank) never took a scaned image of it. Unfortunately it's also untrackable. A compete dead end.

Please don't fall for it like i did. I can only chalk it up to a learning experience.

But if/when i come across this person or buisoness again i can guarentee that i will get my $ back one way or another.
