Trenitalia Fraudulent credit card charge Roma

I found this name 'Trenitalia - Vendita O Roma IT' in my credit card bill. I searched the internet. I dont know whether its a name or company as theres no address. They took euro 157 on my account and it happend on 12.01.2008. I blocked my credit card I contacted the bank but the bank said the process of investigation could take until 3 months. Can anybody do anything about it. How they manage to steal credit cards numbers?
