In September of I received an email from DIVASHOP.com in referrence to a small dog Halloween costume contest that they were having on line.
I spent hours emailing friends, family and everyone on the 4 doggy yahoo groups that I belong to, asking them to vote for Cricket.
On November 1st, I emailed Elizmand@aol.com. About the contest. She told me that Cricket won by a landslide. I was so happy because that meant that she was going to be awarded $100 in merchandise.
A few days went by. I emailed her my order. It was a little over 100 so I told her to figure up the total and I would send her the check once I received the items. She refused so I told her to take the items off that made my order over $100. I did not want to give out my credit card info. I did not know of Diva Shop so I was skeptacle. Especially since my daughter suffered from identity theft over the summer. She lost thousands of dollars and I wasn't taking a chance.
A few weeks go by and I hear nothing from her. I called a numerous amout of times at all hours. I always got an answering machine and they never returned one calls. EVER!!! I emailed several times and Very seldom did I get a response. I told them I wanted the items before Xmas since I was going to give an outfit to a friend for her puppy. They told me that they were waiting for the order to come in. They had some of it but not all. I asked her to send what she had and I would wait for the rest. She said she would.
Well, this was before Xmas. It is now March 5th and I still haven't heard a word. I asked in several emails for another number that I could call her on or she could call me. Trying to get her to call me or answer emails was getting us nowhere.
After all this time, I emailed her and told her that I was contacting RIP OFF REPORT, The Better Business Bureau and all the friends I have on several doggy groups and I was going to let them know how she runs her business. I told them to pass this on to EVERYONE they know. I feel as though my dog won a popularity vote and she should get what she has earned. I am thinking this whole Diva Shop is a fraud. This contest was nothing but a scam to get everyone to view their site.
I would advise anyone who buys items for their small dog NOT to go to DivaShop.com or Diva Pup since that is their other store.
They are a RIP OFF!!
