Takes in your donations for his own horse collection and then doesn't take care of them!

Jeff Wilson collects free horses in the name of charity and uses them for his own hobbies. He takes in money and donations (apparently less than $25,000 so that he doesn't have to register and keep records), claiming to use it to take care of the horses. But the horses go for days without hay, they have absolutely no shelter, no vet care, no hoof care or teeth care. He keeps all eighteen of them on four muddy, filthy wooded acres of hillside. Many have died in his "care, " and most horses look healthy when he acquires them, but within a few months, they are thin, unthrifty, and depressed. He does not believe in vaccinations or worming schedules. When he does feed hay, it's of the worst quality&not meant for horses.

He says he wants volunteers, but when knowledgeable horse people donate their time to help, they get so frustrated by his narrow-mindedness and his refusal to care for the horses properly. He chases them off his property and makes it very clear that he only wants donations in the $ variety! He doesn't want anyone around to see how horribly the horses are living - or dying (as the bodies lay there for days in the hot summer)! A year ago he stated that he had 42 volunteers. Now he has none. Why is that???

He puts up a good front. He seems to be a real horse lover and gives one the impression of caring for them, but upon closer inspection, it is obvious that he is very ignorant about horses, is in way over his head, has very poor management skills, and is very narrow-minded and inflexible.

He is very obviously lining his own pockets with charitable donations and nobody is monitoring where the money goes.
