Do I need to pay to be good @ my job?

I recieved the letter, telling me I had been selected to be included in a "prestigious" list of people in my profession & how it would have a positive impact on my career.

I fell for it. Sent in the application.
I was interviewed at length on the phone about professional & personal things. Then she gets to the "Membership" fees. I said I couldn't afford any of them.

She then went on about a "special" 3 year trial rate for $400 something. An alarm went off in my head, but I went right on!

I gave my CC #. The following day I decided to look them up on the 'net (not BEFORE I paid!). The amount pending to my account was $697!

I called the CC company & CWW to cancel everything.
We'll see how long it takes.

DO NOT fall for this. You don't need to pay anyone to know that you are good at your job & special in your profession.

A RN who should know better!
