Broken Promises, Frauds, and unethical business people

Do you want to hear a sad story? Back during the Christmas holidays a Company called ME Productions, based in Pembroke Park, FL (a small town in between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale) had me come to Florida during the time I was spending with my family for the holidays. This doesn't sound too bad yet but let me go on. I had applied to this company and spoke several times with one of the owners, Jim Etkin. Jim wanted me to show initiative so he wanted me to pay for the flight upfront and he assured me that if I took the initiative for this interview, he would reimburse me for the cost of the flight. The flight was only around $250 but when you are unemployed, $250 might as well be 2 million dollars. I am unemployed and ME Production grosses about 15M a year. Mr. Etkin assured me that he would reimburse me for my expenses.

Well months have gone by and this 15M dollar a year company does not return my calls, my emails, and I have still not received my promised reimbursement. Do certain people or companies have a business philosophy that is so cruel they are willing to steal bread out of the mouths of people so desperate to find employment? Does this behavior excite them or are they so desperate to hold on to every penny of their fortunes they are willing to step on those much less fortunate?

I highly recommend you stay far, far away from this company. ME Production are truly "Wolves in Sheep's Clothing."
