Wise Way is a complete rip off. I used to work in that slave drive of a store. I started out working in the meat department. The pay was a lousy 6.50 to start. They barley give you the hours you need to live off off. All they want is work, but they wont pay. I suggest anyone who is looking for work, to not apply at Wise Way. The food cost a lot of money and they keep food in stock for a long time. The Wise family are only wise in ripping you off. Wiseway has a high turnover rate as well. I worked in the meat department handling meat proccesing machines, Knives Etc. They told me on the interview that I am not allowed to use those machines. My manajer at the time had me using all of those machines and other hardware. That was not being safe to me. I could have lost a limb. I never joined the union because they didnt allow me enough personal time on the weekday to go whenever there was a meeting.
