24 Protect Plus
Unauthorized debit/credit card transaction!

I do business on E-bay a lot and use Pay-Pal for selling and buying. I have a PP debit/credit card and never let anyone use it - however I checked my account the other day for printing shipping labels to buyers who purchased items that we sold and to my surprise I found a charge for $87.90 from a company called 24ProtectPlus.

I have no idea who these people are and when I tried to call them I got the run around big time - you have to enter a phone number, credit card number, or an account number to go further... I do not have an account let alone a number with them, there was no way I was giving them anymore ammo by giving my card number as this sure looks like a scam to begin with and my phone number - please, I have not used a land line in over two years and no companies have my cell number.

I called Pay-Pal and let them know that this transaction took place via my card and that I did not authorize anyone to use it. After answering a few questions I started thinking about where this might have started... There were only two places other than Pay-Pal that I have used my card, one was the Post Office to ship packages and the other was Intelius for a background check on someone - so, I narrowed it down, did some on-line research and found out that the Intelius has got to be where this unauthorized debit came from which really burns me up because they are stealing and offer a "safe and secure" policy for purchases on their site. Pay-Pal is currently helping me to resolve this issue by filing a claim against the company to get my funds back - hopefully soon. Do your research on the net - you will see that this "company" 24 Protect Plus has a whole lot of claims against them for false charges!
