Misleading and crooked company

Having been recommended, I wanted to install Avast. I thus looked under the name Avast. The first title came up under the title Avast, emphasising their security record and popularity. Going into the website, there was an offer for a 3-year membership for 58.63 USD. When I had to pay clickbank, I assumed that Avast used this bank. I paid this sum through paypal assuming that everything was OK as paypal has an excellent reputation and is not sucked in by scams.

It was only later that I realised that clickbank has nothing to do with Avast. They provided me with a 3-months trial Avast home protection, which is totally free.

I asked several times for my money back, which they promised to do, providing I asked within 58 days. Needless to mention, no money was returned.
This company is obviously run by criminals.
