I received a call from an individual claiming to be from grant.net... Turns out to be from national health net online. This individual had a very heavy accent and was very hard to understand... He said his name was Steve Johnson. Ya right. He claims I qualified to receive a $3500 grant that I did not have to pay back. I was weary... He said that it would cost $29.99, but also ask that I make a donation to the "poor people" and gave me a name of someone in India. I asked "if this is a U.S. Grant why is the donation in India. I did not get a straight answer. They asked for my bank account number and routing number. I told them first to provide me with info to legitimize there company. They gave me the number 1-800-372-7085, but said that I would not get through because of a current snow storm. Convenient. Bottom line... Money is not free... Grants do excist but they are very difficult to get... There is a lot of papperwork. If it was this easy to get thousands of dollars... We would all be wealthy. I realy wish that some government agency would take action on this type of froudulent activity. These people belong behind bars.
