Went against my medical records stating I'm permanantely disabled for Degenerative Disc Disease by video taping me on Oxycontin!

I was on Long Term Disability with AETNA for the "standard" two years. I suffer from constant debilitating pain for Disc disease, for which surgery did not help. My surgeon had me down as permanantely disabled, and he and I sent AETNA the necessary paperwork when requested.

However, on my 2 year re-evaluation with them, at my doctor's apt., he said that AETNA had me under surveillance doing a couple of normal things outside! Then I received a notice of termination from them stating they "caught me outside" on video, knowing that I take Vicodin, Oxycontin and Soma for some pain relief.

On a form that I had filled out for them, they asked what activities I can't do anymore and I said "bowling" and "tennis". Obviously they couldn't get me on video doing those things, so they would do anything to not pay me anymore.

They also lied and said I ignored 2 requests for authorization to release info about a second disabling disease that they know about. I had no reason to ignore requests; I had already been seen by a state doctor for the 2nd illness that they know about, so I had no reason to ignore requests.

I believe their policy is that if they had any doubt about my condition, that I was to be seen by a doctor of their choice, but wasn't. So, I lost my Healthcare, for which me and my disabled daughter can't see our specialists now, or get our meds., (I'm a single parent). They left me with no income just prior to Christmas, no food, and I can't pay my rent. What they did is in "Bad Faith" to say the least, and they are literally trying to kill me and my disabled daughter. And I won't let them get away with this!
