Pure Weight Loss Ripped Me Off

When I first joined LA Weight Loss, I did well and reached goal. I refused to use their product. However, I regained the weight and more when I was on my own (not their fault). I mainly liked the one-on-one.

Quite a few years ago, I went back and started again. I also purchased a 4 year-maintenance plan since it was on sale. I was told I could save it for when I went on maintenance. After spending many dollars on weight loss weeks, I puit my foot down and told them, I wasn't going to purchase anymore weight loss weeks. I said I would be back when I reached goal on my own and then I would start to use the maintenance weeks. They agreed to that. Periodically, I picked up the product that I had purchased. I only used it as a treat not as they suggested - 2X a day.

Well, when I went back in December they had changed their name to Pure and they told me I didn't have the maintenance weeks anymore. They used them to count as the weeks that I missed which was about 4 years. They said I had to buy more weeks. I, in turn, told them that I was tired of being ripped off and what they could do with their program. I requested all of the product that I purchased and it was given to me. One week later they closed.

In hindsight, I was lucky that I got the product that I purchased before they closed.

I am embarrassed that I was taken in by them but probably got off easy compared to those who lost unused weeks and product when they closed.
