I have been a victim of the same "Deferred Interest Promotional Purchase" scam by GE.

Please reply ASAP: Has anyone taken any concrete action against them besides posting here or BBB or AG letters?

They have given me 24hrs to accept their offer to reduce my finance charge by 25%. Before I pay them, I would like to hear if anyone else has found an alternative strategy preferable to giving into this kind of predatory lending.
