What a scam dealership

I went in there to buy a 2007 ford edge. I filled out a online credit app. I get a call from a tarsha saying i have been pre-appoved for a loan and go pick out your car. I know my credit isnt perfect but its not bad either. I go to this dealship a ask for tarsha which no one never heard of her. I get this salesman drew and not a bad guy he really was up front with me. They run my credit and say we got you approved and how much can you put down i told them 500. It went from 500 to they wanted 1600and this punk pierre who is there finance manager tells me they want at least 800 now and 800 next week. Well 2 days later i go in with the money and pierre is not there but there other finance guy takes over and they come back and tell me my monthly payment will be 863.00 a month i went nuts. Granted i just bought an 08 mustang for 26,000 and my payments are only 500. They were trying to charge me 4000 in some sort of fees the bank charges to finance and 24 percent interest. I walked out of there. This guy pierre set this whole thing up they were trying to make me go to the cashiers to get a receipt for the down payment to finish the deal. I told them go to hell i will not give them one penny till i see a contract.
