Elegant Entries does NOT STAND BEHIND their website guarantee elegantentries.com/guarantaee which states "Peace of Mind" Guarantee. There aren't a lot of words to our guarantee, so there's no "fine print." This is it: WE OFFER OUR UNCONDITIONAL GUARANTEE ON ALL OUR PRODUCTS AND CRAFTSMANSHIP. IT's THAT SIMPLE." signed Gary Arcieri, President of Elegant Entries. That unconditonal guarantee is WORTHLESS!!! When my storm door lock broke on my Elegant Entries door, I first emailed them. No reply whatsover (oh, yes, there is a spot if you want them to come to your home to sell you a new door or window). Then I telephoned them at their 1-866-597-4000 number and was told that the Unconditonal, Peace of Mind Guarantee is good for only one year. Not believing that, I telephoned their Deer Park, NY location directly and was told that they would send someone out to fix the lock, but for $75 for just coming to the house, plus parts. Again, they tried to scam me. The lock that is in the door

Is a Marks lock, and Marks locks (Amityville, NY) replaces all parts without cost or hassel, no questions asked. Again, Elegant Entries was trying to rip me off. I contacted Better Business Bureau, and they told me that since the Elegant Entries website doesn't say "Lifetime Guarantee", there is nothing they can do about it. I will never, never, never buy anything from elegant entries again. Beware before you buy. There are a lot of good, honest dealers out there... Unfortunately Elegant Entries is not one of them!
