FRS I cancelled my check and they still withdrew the money., FL

A couple of guys came to my door soliciting magazine subscriptions. I don't usually but things, but they seemed legite. They kept talking about how they were in a competition, and that they were in this to help better themselves and their speech skills. I ordered my subscription on Friday.

The cancellation policy said that I had three days to postmark my cancellation. I put it in the mail Sunday night, which would have made it postmarked that Monday which would have been in time of the cancellation policy.

Even though I cancelled my check, they still withdrew the money. I have tried to call them on every extension they have, and the lines are always busy (even when it's not office hours) or they don't work.

I have also tried to upload their webpage with the web address they gave me, and it doesn't work.

I believe after thinking about it and reading some other reports that this company is an imposter.
