Rip off

I received a letter just the other day that stated that I was the winner of unclaimed prize money in the amount of $57,000.00. It came with an actual check from Bank of America in the amount of $3,872.99. It says that I have to contact Monica Thompson at 1-705-770-8850 before Nov 22nd to claim my prize. I have tried to reach someone at that number numerous times and get a recording saying that the person I am trying to contact cannot be reached at this time and to try my call again later (suprise, surprise).

After looking up this scam online I found that I can indeed cash the check that I have and it would more than likely go through but it would be ripping someone else off and after I cash it, I could be sued for cashing a fraudulent check. So watch out!!
