Misrepresentation, misappropriation of funds

When I initially talked with Rob Tissler of adventure avaition, I was told that if I went with his school for my Instrument license, he could guarentee that I could do it for under 8500.00-This included my CFI (certified flight instructed), and all of the time in a twin engine aircraft.

I was told that his twin, was in top condition, because I asked. I was told he had a Diamond DA40, and DA 50, a Cessna 172,182 a piper Senneca II. I chose the Cessna. I was paired with a great instructor, but soon found out that the school had "Issues". It ws very hard to get reciepts for payments after the first month or so.initially the fllight instructors would give reciepts and my books were straight. The Mike Andrews and Rob Tissler took that ability away from the instructors and reciepts came seldom.
Only a threat of taking my business elsewhere (and my money) would get a reciept. When I got one I saw that the funds on account differed from what I knew I had. I addressed this, but by that time the Senneca was repossed due to non-payment. We were told that it was down for maintenance.

Then the Diamonds were repossed for non-payment. Soon ther were as many as 15 students who all wanted the only operational aircraft. This decreased availability for those of us who put money down. I was advised by an instructor, as well as outside sources that The school was in financial ruin. This explained why planes were "here today and gone tomorrow". I moved my money I had on account and used it before I lost it. I lost 138.00 in non refunded fuel charges, and 75.00 in cash on account-many lost more than I.
