Applebee's
Don't even fill out the application

I worked for the applebee's in south grand prairie for over 6 months. TOM MONAHAN, KENT YARWOOD, and FELISHA COMPTON are the managers at this location. First off, the turnover rate at this place is unreal (as is the cockroach problem.) when i got a job there ans started working, it seemed fine. But these people will find so many ways to screw you if you let them.

First, if they decide you arent exactly perfect, they will cut your shifts down to where you barely have any work. When you ask why they did this, they will come up with all sorts of irrelevent bull*t. That means they hired too many people and there arent enough shifts to go around. What applebees really needs is a custodial crew, to do all the cleaning, but no, they world rather make the waiters do all the cleaning. For 2.13 an hour. And they get pi*ed when you dont bust your a* for those wages!

This seriously was the trashiest restuarant i have ever worked at, and although everything is already cheap, this majorly overpriced for what you actually get. I would like to tell everyone thinking about working for this company to reconsider, as you will be dealing with the following:

-ghetto people who came to applebees because they have barely any money
-being punished for not being "positive" when you get stiffed (worked for free) because applebees doesnt allow an automatic gratuity on huge parties
-being underpaid for the "sidework"- or as applebees calls it, free work
-paycards that never get any money on them
-managers that don't give a s*t about anyone but superb*h schedule maker
-and they nazi the uniforms like crazy

Think twice before filling out an application.
