Credit report

I accessed my credit report for the first time yesterday and started checking it out. I discovered I have a bunch of inquiries from some companies I didnt recognize. I looked alittle closer and discovered that it was the same company using 5 different names and 2 different addresses. And 15 inquiries in the last 3 years.
Names were; Tribute / FBOFD, Salute/UTB, Aspen/FB&T, Aspire / CB&T, CB&T. The 2 addresses that were used were; 6 Concourse PKWY NE FL 2 Atlanta, GA. 30328 The other; P. O Box 105555 Atlanta, GA. 30348.
Through research I figured out it is a credit card company, but I dont have any credit cards. And the only ones I ever did have were through my bank 2 years ago. How did these people get my info. How do I make them leave me and my credit alone?
