RPM employees get REALLY, REALLY upset when you call them to return their phone calls. It's a free call for us, but they pay for it. My momma always taught me to return ALL phone calls. And I do! Yep! EVERY one! Which makes the folks at RPM scream and tell me they don't like harrassing phone calls... Last year, an overzealous phone company employee, trying to meet his sales quota, added long distance services to my bill even though I made it clear that I make all long distance calls on my cell phone. That is a crime, so I notified State of Florida Public Service Commission (PSC - those people are consistently fantastic!). Anyway, the PSC investigated, charged the phone company with slamming, slapped a fine and the phone company quickly rescinded the charge to me. They notified RPM in writing of this "mistake" and copied me and the State of Florida of theit notification to RPM that the issue had been satisfied. But RPM calls and calls and calls and calls and well, you get it. And the RPM agent repeatedly calls and says, "hello, " then hangs up. So, return EACH and EVERY one of those calls the same way (like your momma taught you) and they get really REALLY upset!
