Miscellaneous

Week 1 (Monday) - Brought all necesarry paperwork in; went through budgeting; did not qualify because of expenses exceeded income (not true); told to bring fiance in to sign on to qualify

Week 1 (Tuesday) - Brought fiance in; went through same procedures; unable to stay because fiance had to go to work; told to come back tomorrow.

Week 1 (Wednesday) - Both of us came by; problems with budgeting; they were not clear as to what this problem was; left for the day.

Week 1 (Thursday) - I returned alone; sat down with sales manager who tells me there was a problem regarding some POSSIBLE repos and with some of my bills; [1. There was a repo in which I was not involve with, 2. Another repo that was initiated back in 2003 (according to them you cannot have more than 3 repos in a 24 month period), and 3. I have a potential repo which has NOT been implimented yet. Again, had to take wife to work, will call back.

(Also the budgeting counselor did not tally the expenses correctly, i.E., he asked how much I pay for mortgage. Let's say the mortgage is $600, that's what he put down BUT I tell him that I pay half because me and my fiance live together and we split all the household bills. But he writes $600 anyway - he did the same thing with my fiance, so guess he figured we pay a $1200 mortgage!)

Week 1 (Friday) - I called the dealership, one of the other salesperson says there were still some issues with my deal and asked if I could call back about Wednesday of next week so I say ok.

Week 2 (Wednesday) - I called back and one of the salespersons say "They are going to approve you, come on by"; I get there and they say the sales manager is not there and to call him Friday because they are going to finance you; apparently the sales manager was arguing with the finance folks why my application was rejected due to the fact I was a "low risk" customer; I told them either I ride out of here in a car or I walk out with my down payment.

Week 2 (Friday) - Came by Friday; sales manager not there and he's the only one who can finalize the deal; another salesperson told me that he was going to get my deposit back to me ASAP.

Week 2 (Saturday) - Came back to pick up deposit; finance secretary and sales manager not there; told to come back Monday.

Week 3 (Monday) - Came by to pick up deposit; talked to sales manager who explain what was going on with my deal and he knew about the budgeting error and that he was "fighting" to get my deal through; he also say that some higher-ups were coming by the next day to check on the business and that he was going run my deal by them hoping they see the error and everything was going to be ok; got deposit and told me to hold on to it just in case; told me to call him back Tuesday afternoon.

Week 3 (Tuesday) - Called back and was told by the sales manager that the "big-wigs" didn't quite like what they say in regards with my deal and that they were still mulling over it; told to call back tomorrow for final decision.

Week 3 (Wednesday) - Called back and talked to another salespersons who got in contact with sales manager; salesperson told me that the sales person said that it looks as if they were going forward with the deal; and told him this time to call ME back that afternoon.

After all of this, no call back and after traveling back and forth 30 miles each way through heavy traffic (there is no easy way to get there from my residence) that I had enough of this and they call me fine, if not, at least I got my deposit back and thank goodness of that because after reading ALL of these complaints about the high prices, CNAC's demonic attitude toward financing, and the condition of their cars, I'm glad that I didn't go forward with this deal.

To those of you who are considering by from these people, take it from me and everyone else... DON'T DO IT!!!
