Trinity Public Relations, LLC
Bogus business promises to help young, troubled adults with your magazine subscription

Miscellaneous

A young man came to my door asking if I believe in second chances and showing a picture of his young daughter. I hope for the sake of his soul, his story was real and that was really his daughter...
He proceeded to use all the "marketing" tricks... Relating to my young children, my religious beliefs and my sincere belief in second chances. I hesitated at first to purchase anything through such a system but gave in because of his sincerity. I asked alot of questions about his background (which was very troubled) and decided he deserved the said "second chance".
I ordered a magazine subscription for my toddler. I paid $40 plus the non-refundable handling fee of $10 by check; he requested that half be paid in cash but I balked and paid with check. He gave me a receipt and said if I didn't receive my magazine within 120days, send proof of payment and a letter requesting a refund to the address on the paperwork.
That night I looked up the company online and found a website that explained their purpose and it seemed legit. Of course, as I type this, I am unable to find that website again.
Well, needless to say, I never received a magazine and I just got my letter returned with "FORWARD TIME EXP RTN TO SENDER". This makes me furious to say the least. I can only imagine how much more upset I'd be if I had purchased several subscriptions.
The saddest part of this is that the said company was established to help underprivileged, at-risk youth. If that is the case, they are teaching these young people to be con-artists and nothing more.
