Pull Pans
This large company bilked us out of $145

Miscellaneous

Pull Pans, LLC does large earth-moving projects throughout the US. One of their Florida job site superintendents called in late March and ordered some bearings from us for one of their rigs. It was a rush order and shipped 2nd day air UPS.

This was in April. The cost of the bearings was $145 (give-or-take a buck).

We contacted Leslie Hammer-Palen, their Office Manager, on many occassions (all documented). First she told us they didn't get the original invoice and asked us to fax another copy. Then she told us, a couple weeks later that we in fact, needed to mail a copy. We again, complied with her request. After that she started using her caller ID and quit answering the phone when we would call. We have left her at least 8 or 9 messages over the past 2 months.

When it became obvious that we would get no where with Ms. Hammer-Palen, we contacted the President of Pull Pans, LLC, Robert Sanderman. He was angry at us for contacting him about a debt. We remained polite and by the end of the phone call he had us fax the invoice to his office directly with his promise to take care of the now very delinquent bill.

That was a month ago. And still we have not heard from anyone on their end. A couple weeks ago, we called everyone in their contact list at their web site. Not one person has had the decency to return our calls. Every communication we have left for them has always been polite and to the point.

We are a very small company, 2 employees. Employees of Pull Pans, LLC perform their duties in machinery costing more than my home. Why is it this difficult to get them to pay $145? Money they owe for product they received long ago?

I don't get it.
