Do not work for these people! Ripoff

I worked for this company in management. Talking to all the other employees, I immediately realized they are a ripoff. They want you to manage their rental properties with YOUR money! Sounds unbelievable, but it's true. They do not give you any petty cash to operate the property, you are left to fend for yourself without paper and pencil, unless you buy the supplies on your own.

In the winter they won't even pay for salt for the roads, they expect you to go outside and shovel the walks yourself, or go buy salt yourself.
They will not spend money for anything.

Some of their managers I heard actually charge their own credit cards to buy supplies for their properties.

This is wrong, it's illegal, and it's ridiculous, but I hear people are always in fear of losing their jobs if they don't spend their own money.

Someone needs to report these people to every authority they can.
