No Advancement, No Job Security, Low Pay, Constantly Under Pressure, Difficult Quotas to Meet

Avoid this job like the plague! This is actually joint effort for Val-U-Ads and some homebuyers list. The managers that work here purposely set you up to fail! They say you'll just be setting appointments, but the truth is that you have to set at least 1 appointment a week, and it HAS to sell! That's right! You take all the blame for an appointment not selling when it should be the sales representative's fault!

This company has a huge turn-over rate and you are guaranteed not to advance. I worked there for several months, and all I got was static from both my supervisor and the office manager.

To everyone desperately seeking a job: AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE! It's not worth it, the people there aren't worth it, and the money isn't worth it either! You won't get any new call lists because the supervisor takes them all so she can make the money while you get yelled at for not setting an appointment.

Not to mention that you are constantly belittled (usually depending on your gender), you are constantly under pressure from everyone, you work only 6 hours a day, you're constantly threatened about getting fired for not making a sale or setting an appointment and you eventually suffer slight mental anguish and depression.

What this company doesn't realize is that you can't make owners of companies say "Yes" to your sales pitch. On top of that, "cold calling" is the most difficult form of calling in the field of Telemarketing. The managers there could care less about your personal problems, the fact that nobody on your call lists tell you "No", or whatever concerns you have. They are too busy doing their nails or telling "gender-bashing" jokes, when they should be helping you succeed.

Your immediate supervisor WILL NOT help you, or give you new lists to call because she weeds through the new lists, keeps a chunk of them, and gives you lists of companies that you know only advertise through their respective corporations. Like I said before: They set you up to fail.
