Loan Scam

Mr. Scott called me to inform me that I was able to get a loan from their company. I would only have to send them first a security deposit, which after making 3 payments on time, the money would be sent back to me. So (knowing in my heart it was a scam) I went and sent them $850, the next day the money wasn't in my account. So i called and he said that something came up on my credit report and more money was needed to insure the loan. I told him that I didn't have any more money and he said that he would send me a check back, it would only take 2 1/2 weeks!

So I waited and still no money, I called and still was told that the check was sent out and should receive any day. Well kept calling and not getting a hold of anyone, finally someone answered and told me that they were having trouble with the phone system and someone was there working on it. Then the man (not Mr. Scott) starting asking if I was happily married and said he liked the sound of my voice and i told him he was being inappropriate, that all I wanted to know was where my check was. He said that he couldn't check at that time, but that maybe I could call back when I wasn't working and we could talk! I have since tried their phone number and is now a fax number. I hope my stupidity can help someone else not be taken by this company!!!
