Ripoff $37.00 ck #439 pre-approved credit card offer

Miscellaneous

I received an official looking letter advising me that I was pre-approved for a credit card with a $37.00 annual fee. I have actually gotten a card this way to build my credit up so I thought this was official.

The check was cashed and I decided today it had been a while so I went on line to find a phone number (of which stupid me I never saw there wasn't one on the letter) and I ran accross this web site stating this was in fact not a legal business. I should be smarter than this, but honestly I have been trying to find ways to build my credit back after a bad relationship left me with credit cards going to collections. So now this. I live paycheck to paycheck, how could someone be so insensative. I just took in one of my daughters teenaged friends and every little bit helps. That line of credit could have helped me get her some school clothes.

I know this is not your concern, but some how if you find the person (s) that is behind this. Read them this letter. Why can't these people work like the rest of us do? So, is there any chance I will get my money back?
If so can I charge interest?
