Will not honor protection plan Ripoff

I purchased an mp3 player from circuit city and purchased the protection plan. I purchased this plan due to the fact the salesman told me I was protected against theft. Since I used the unit in a service truck that I drove this appealed to me.

I since have lost the unit when there was a change in trucks and the unit was lost. I called the protection plan number and was sent from place to place until I was finally advised by a computer voice to go back to the store where I purchased the unit. I went to the store where the manager would not even come out of the back room to tell me about how they were not going to honor the plan.

I then emailed the plan protection email and explained the circumstances. They have not even bothered to email me back or acknowledge that I exist.

I am tired of being lied to by people and the company not backing up the warranty they trained them to sell.
