Rip Off Scam! This needs to be stopped! My parents were scammed bad! Perry

Last year my parents purchased a sign from Signtronix that they leased through Northern Leasing Systems. Right off the bat they started charging my parents more money than what was stated on the original lease agreement. They stated that the extra was sales tax and insurance fees. Non of this was noted in the lease agreement. Unfortunately being new to the world of business they signed the contract because they could only get the deal THAT DAY, just like everyone else has stated thus far on these reports. Now they've contacted them saying they have to pay property tax on the sign because the city acessed them the fees. How does the city know who to charge? They charge the business with the sign, not the company it's leased from. Anyhow, when my mother questioned them they said it was in section 7 of the lease terms. When I pulled out the file to look over these terms, the middle page was mysteriously missing. She called Northern leasing and asked them to fax over a copy of the lease agreement. They faxed over one that was not legible and was so tiny that even if it was you would have to have a magnifying glass just to read it.

So here they sit paying more than they are supposed to for a sign that they really can't afford and no way out of the contract or so they think. They will be contacting an attorney to discuss the matter. Something needs to be done about this company. Why aren't some of the major news networks doing a story on this company. They're targeting small business owners. I wish that I could have been there the day they signed the lease agreement. I would have made sure that what they were being told was actually accurate. The harassing phone calls haven't started yet... But I'm sure they will. If there is someone who can help them with this legally, please contact me! I hate to see people taken advantage of.
