I was contacted by email on November 30 by Mr. Wood Shelton from the Assurance Bank Nigeria Limited, Marina Branch stated that a Mr. Larry with my same last name had been killed in a plane crash back in 2003 and that no family members were left to claim the $9.5Million US Dollars that was left in the bank of Nigeria, I received a account and a routing number to this bank: phone number to bank 234-1-7608511: I was informed that all I needed to do was submit a sworn affidavit of claim, letter of administration, copy of drivers license, and date of birth.
Then I was told to scan, then email all information to the attention of: DR. ELVIS ISIKONG at Assurance Bank Nigeria Limited email address: assurancebank1@myway.com and that as soon as all was received, then Mr. Wood Shelton (cell number) 234-805-8943138; would take 45 percent of the money from himself, 40 percent of the $9.5Million to me, and 15 percent for fees?
I emailed back, told Mr. Shelton that it was nothing but a scam, I then received a phone call on my home phone on December 05 @ 5:57AM, from Mr. Shelton telling me that it was not a scam, and that he didn't have time to play games. I hung up the phone with Mr. Shelton, then received another email stating that the bank needed money from me to file the paperwork with "their" attorney, so that all would be legal; and as soon as their attorney was done then monies would be put into my bank account.
I have saved all emails from this scam, and will continue to keep them. BEWARE: DO-NOT send any money to this bank for it is a scam. Please remember: if it sounds too good to be true, then walk away... Please be careful, this bank still continues to use the name Mr. Larry??? And Dr. Elvis Isikong is still at "play"
