Fraudulent Misleading Dishonest Scam Liars ripoff

Miscellaneous

I responded to an ad in the newspaper that looked like this:

"Admin/Mgmt, fashionable a. Looking for open-minded & trainable indiv.!"

I called them and went in for an interview. The office was very run-down looking. The furniture was stained and torn. There was loud music playing, and the girl that did my "interview" was very young... Maybe early 20's at the oldest.

She told me that I sounded perfect for the job, that it was a management position, and that the pay was 40,000 a year. She told me that I would go to training, which could be anywhere from 3-8 weeks... And after that amount of time I would have my own office and I would be able to hire and fire my own employees. I was told they were a fashion wholesale company in the middle of an expansion.

I left and was told to call back in an hour to find out whether I was going to get a second "interview" or not. I did, and was told that I was going to need to come in for a second interview. I was so excited but something just seemed too good to be true.

I went online that next night to look up more about the company to be better prepared for my upcoming "interview". I could not find a website, but I DID find this site with a report talking about how this company was somehow connected to a company called "Scentura Creations".

I read about similar tales to mine, and found out that the second "interviews" were group interviews. The lady had not told me this. She had assured me upon first entering her office that this was not a "sales" job. Upon reading the report #141123, though, I discovered that this was not true.

When the lady called me the next day to confirm my interview for that afternoon, I told her I had a question. I asked her whether it would just be myself and the boss in the interview. She told me that it was a group interview (just as I'd read) with 20-25 people in it.

She asked me if this made me nervous. I told her that it did because I had found them on this site as being a scam. She started to blow me off, claiming that I shouldn't take the word of someone on the internet. She assured me that if I looked online I could find negative things about any company, even Walmart. I asked them why they weren't registered with the Better Business Bureau, and she ignored me and asked if I was coming to the interview. I told her no, and didn't go.

I just wanted to thank this site for showing me the truth about this company. I was afraid it was too good to be true, but I figured I should add my own report to let everyone know that ERUS is now operating as a fashion wholesale company, rather than anything to do with perfume. I've seen two different ads in two different papers. I recognized the second ad because it looked like this:

"No experience PLEASE!!! Entry level management positions available for Hillsborough, Pinellas & Pasco. Fashionable a."

Just figured I'd warn you guys not to fall for this. Once again, the referral to the other report is #141123. The update is that they are now calling themselves a fashion wholesale company. Everything else is pretty much the same.
