Consumer Guide lied repeatedly, made promises and didn't keep them Ripoff

Entered into contract with Consumer Guide Inc. To advertise in the Better Business Bureau Guide last year. Sponsored an editorial page which was to be "well written and informative regarding the individual type of business".

The guide came out two months behind schedule, and the editorial was a piece of garbage.

The rep from the Guide offered us a substantial discount to advertise in the next guide as compensation. He told us that we would not have the same problems this time. The guide was due out in September. Oct 1 we still had no ad proof, so the book couldn't possibly be out in September, so we told them they were in breach and to cancel the contract. We told them that, due to past experience, we knew at thsi point that the guide would not be out until the third or fourth week of November, not any reasonalbe time after the September due date.
