Wont pay your last paycheck, worth 1500 dollars, and lies about additional work, Ripoff Cardiff by the sea

At first this promotion job seems like a dream come true. Get paid a daily rate to promote a sports drink at different gas stations in the area.

First 2 checks came with only minor complication, nothing at this point screams "scam" just yet.

Paul Myers, the supposive "BOSS" promised me and my co-worker gas compensation of. 35 cents a mile for anything out of our county, then changes his mind and says its anything past a 60 mile radius, ONE WAY. Again, not a big issue, we both continue working for him.

Finally he promises us work in Las Vegas and Sacramento, saying he will pay gas to get out there and set us up with hotel accomodations. Then backs out and says we have to get ourselves there and house ourselves.

We agree to go and the day before we leave he tells us that Las Vegas and Sacramento is DONE. We are suddenly jobless.

He is holding our last paycheck and tells us that he wont send it off until we return the equipment he lent us (table, tent, cooler etc...)

We call the delivery guy to pick up the equipment, he gets it, and then we never hear from Paul Myers again. No check. We were supposed to recieve appx $1500 each and never got a dime.

Stay away from this company, dont feed into their empty promises, it might sound like a good idea but it is a SCAM.
